AUSTRIA AND GERMANY. Vienna, October 16. The newspaper Rciclispost, the mouthpiece of the Heir to the Throne and military circles, endorses German newspaper complaints that Austria has latterly shown a coolness to Germany on the Moroccan question, which is markedly in contrast to her friendliness with Italy in the Tripolitan conflict. ATTACK ON SPANISH POSITION. Madrid, October IG. During the Riffs daring attack on a Spanish position at Imarufen, near Melilla, General Ordonez, Spain’s most brilliant artillery officer and the_ inventor of the Ordonez cannon, received two bullet wounds in his chest and, succumbed. Two officers and sixteen men were wounded, hut the Riffs were repulsed with great loss.
