THE SHIPPING TROUBLE.
c . (Per Press Association.) Wanganui, October 16. The shipping strike is causing inconvenience hero. Unless settled in a few days several industries will have to close down. The strike has been a benefit to potato-growers here, who had fairly large supplies; they are now able to quit at improved prices, owing to the non-arrival of southern tubers.
