A' high wind and driving rain prevailed to-day, when the Manawatu ladies’ open golf tournament was concluded. - :

In the semi-finals of the championship, Mrs Guy Williams beat Miss Pearce, 4 and 3, and Miss Gorrie ‘beat Miss Gould, 2 up. The final between.
