JUST SOME FACTS.

(To The Editor, “Stratford Post.”) Sir, —Surely our “Old Settler” friend was not at Professor Mills’ lecture, or he never would have attempted to distort what the learned professor said in regard to the land question. The professor said and you reported: “That history would have to be turned back if the conditions described did not occur.” I think it was some of the other matter that has made “Old Settler” squirm. His attempt to create public opinion against the professor’s is too thin, and on his next visit, no doubt,- Professor Mills will be pleased to meet “Old Settler” and listen to his arguments. “Old Settler,” as a rule, writes over his own name; but the nom de plume did not fit him well and ho could not make out a case.—l am, etc., ONE WHO WAS THERE. Stratford, 14th October, 1911.
