TOLAGA BAY TRAGEDY.

(Per Press Association.) Gisborne, October 13. In connection with the Tolaga Bay tragedy, an inquest was first held ou the body of Mrs. Reid. The jury returned a verdict as follows:—“From the evidence and letters the jury are of opinion that the parties bad lived unhappily, and were continually quarrelling; and that deceased met her death by wounds in the neck, but there is no direct evidence to show by whom they were inflicted.” An inquest is now being held on Reid.
