(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 12

From further information received by tiie Rev. Dawson, it appears that the issue voted on in Maine was: “Shall the prohibition amendment to the State Constitution be repealed?” The electors voted “Yes” or “No.” The Rev. Dawson to-day received a further cable from the Rev. F. J. Derry, Superintendent of the Civic League and editor of the “Civic Record,” as follows:—“Corrections completed to October 9th show the “No” majority to lie 748. The total vote was about 121,000.” This refers to the recount of the • original vote on September 10th, about which conflicting versions havt been received.
