THE NAPIER BURGLARY. (Per Press Association ) Napier, October 10. A charge against Alfred Robert Donaldson, a clerk in the employ of the borough, of theft of £570 arising out of the recent robbery at the corporation offices, was investigated to-day by Mr S. E. Macassey, S.M. After a lengthy hearing the magistrate dismissed the information, stating the eridenco showed nothing against accused beyond mere suspicion. The accused was admitted to bail in connection with two minor charges on which - 'he was committed for trial yesterday.
