The special prize list alone will amount to considerably over £3OO. Amongst other special prizes donated, the Jersey Dreaders’ Association /have given, in the pedigree Jersey section, Oil) 10s for the best hull and three of bis progeny (in milk). In this class an error has crept into the schedule, tin- prizes being printed as first £2 10s, and second £1 Is. The prizes should read, first £lO 10s, second £2 10s, third £1 Is. The Ngaire

Co-operative Dairy Factory Co. donator a special prize of ;Co os for the host pen of five grade heifers, calved since the Ist of August 1910. In the horse section (hunters’ conipeti lion) Mr Newtcn King donates a special prize of £lO 10s. In the huntera’ leaping competition a. class has bean inserted for horses and riders

that have never competed in a leaping competition. This class should have a very full entry list. Other generous donations, too numerous to mention, appear in the schedule under the heading of “Special Prizes.” The whole prize list is on a generous scale, and with the great improvements effected on the showgrounds since the last show, many new exhibitors should he induced to enter their stock for the November show at Stratford, which the signs of the times indicate is to he a bigger thing than even the great initial effort of November, 1910.
