it. Woods: One-time librarian, but turned over his job and took on butchery.
V. Craws haw: A very wide-a-wake' and cleaver player. Likely to score. A budding Actor, Gadkooks !■ f A v. /! P. Paul: Merits unknown, but will probably be knocked out of him on .Thursday.
I. Riera: A disciple of Izaac Walton; been'known to get many bites. B. Fo'aron: Often played before, but in fear or trembling, as lie bad no heart.

J. Hignett: Tlio veteran. A very •formidable opponent, especially when standing, still. Says lie can last out t.ro game. Feather-weight boxer, and a great coliarcr (takes an 18-inch). tt. Hobbs: Father of the.team; merits well known. Will also make a decent bid on Thursday.

Peter’ Thompson: A real live wire. Heavily ballasted, but rather light in the rigging; wrestling enthusiast; good at the roll (currant).
