A. niy Stratford springing heifer sale on Tuesday, tiio 26cn instant, there was a fair carding of dairy catwiden were disposed of at tno following rates:—Springing hoifers £4 l 2s (id to £8 12s Gd, do. Jersey £9, hoifers (calved) £4 lUs to us, dairy cows close up £(j to £9, do calved x. 6 to £8 15s. On the same day I held my usual fortnightly sale at Ranotu, when there was a good yarding of all classes, whicn sold at tho following rates: —Mixed yearlings 35s- to £2 bs, yearling steers 38s to £2 10s, yearling hoifers Cl 8s to £G 7s Gd, Store Cows £2 10s to £3 12s Gd, forward cow’s £3 17s to £l 18s, springing cows £4 10s to £7 is, bulls £3 os to £2 Bs, Holstein bull sold on account of Mr.. R. Morrow realised £23. On Wednesday, the 27th instant, at Mr. N. - J. Hamolyh’s clearing sale at Beaconsliold Road, there was a good attendance, and cue cows, which were mostly Roistein-J ersoy, were keenly competed for. 'J'no three pedigree Jerseys sold as follows, after some very'keen bidding:—Bull “Clovis,” 28.1 guineas; cow, “Nolly’s Darling,”
