A DARING BURGLARY.
DUPLICATE KEYS SUPPOSED TO BE USED. ,Pcr Pi ess Association.) Napier, September 30. A during burglary was effected at the Corporation offices during last night, the thieves getting away with .-bout £6OO, representing a fortnight’s wages of the borough staff. When tiie office was opened this morning werything appeared as usual, the outside door of the strong-room being locked. There were no signs of violence on the locks or doors and it would appear that the unwelcome visitors possessed duplicate keys to fit the locks.
