AN UNUSUAL CASE.
PROVISIONS OF WILL UPSET. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, September 29. An unusual ease was before the Supreme Court to-day, in which the widow of a. deceased wharf labourer proceeded under the Family Maintenance Act, to alter the provision of her husband’s will leaving all his estate of £2Bo to a hospital. It appeared that some years ago the husband met with an accident, after which he had to. be supported by his wife, who earned a living as a charwoman. The money left had really been earned by her. The hospital trustees did not oppose the present application, which was granted, and the money ordered to bo uaid to the widow.
