NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Three heifers have been impounded in tne Stratford pound. Messrs. Gillies and Nalder’s list of stock sales for October are advertised. Messrs. R. H. White and Co. publish a replace advertisement elsewhere. An advertiser wants to purchase cither rye or wheat straw. The big factory at Frimloy, which produces so many nice tilings, never stands still. Immediately the management secs that there is something in the pure food lino which householders require, then it endeavours to fill that need. To their already long list of jams, sauces, preserved fruits, vegetables, and other table delicacies, they aro now adding; Spices, Curry Powders, Pepper, Custard and Baking Powders. These are all of ...e very highest quality, and absolutely pins. The Prim ley Cottage Brand Baking Powder, although only a short time on the market, is rapidly gaining in popularity. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., hold a full stock of Reid and Gray single furrow ploughs, also chain and disc harrows, and clients are invited to inspect.* The A.Z.
