Banks, of Matamata, “That, in the districts where there are between ten and thirty children, and where the Ddpartment cannot see its way to make the usual grant of about £250 for the erection of a school, the Board asks the Department to make a grant sufficient for the erection of a- building about 15 leet square such building to be constructed so that when the population increai s and a larger building is inquired, it can bo used as the school porch.'
