STRANDED VESSELS SOLD.
(Per Press Association.) Wanganui, September 26. The stranded harquentino Carla, which was blown ashore a week ago, was sold by auction to-day and bought by Hatrick and Co. for £290. Tho general opinion is that she will ho refloated. , I The schooner Pelotas, which lies on the same beach and was sold lor about £SO, is also likely to bo refloated. After being embeded in tho sand for about three months sho was afloat this morning, tho purchasers having pumped tho water out of tho holds.
