SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE.
(Ter Press Association.) Wellington, September 2G. At a meeting of the Wellington Education Board to-day, Mr Yile moved: “That a commitee bo set np to confer with the Education Department, the Masterton Trust Land Trustees, and agricultural bodies interested in the question of the establishment in the Wnirarapa of a school of Agriculture.” Mr Field seconded the motion. Mi 1 Buchanan, in supporting the proposal, reminded the Board that a good deal of money was being spent by other countries in agricultural advancement, and across the sea in Australia there were many oportunitios offering to intending farmers to acquire knowledge. The motion was carried.
