OTAKI MEETING. SECOND DAY. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, September 25. The spring meeting of the Otaki Mypyi: Racing Club concluded to-day. itaxa fell, early in the morning, but by the time of the first race the weather was perfect. There was a satisfactory attendance of the public, visitors being present from all parts of the Dominion. The racing was interesting, some keen finishes being witnessed. The sum of £7911 was put through the totalisator, compared with £2027 on the corresponding day of last year. The aggregate for the two days was £10,130, against £8194 for last. year. Results: —; Trial Handicap, of 60 sovs; five 1 arlongs.—Aurora 1, Inveran 2, Emma 3. Also ran: Mount Victoria, Ceylon, Foioshot, Fangasse, Terawhiti, hivicta and Adela. Time, Imin 0 2 ssee.
