SUPREME COURT.
NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. At the New Plymouth sessions of the Supremo Court, yesterday Nicholas Albert Maddren, charged with arson at Finncrty Road on January 23rd, was found <: not guilty.” In the estate of Charles H. Ellis, gardener, of Stratford, am order for immediate discharge from bankruptcy was granted, on the application of Mr Spence, His Honour remarking that this was evidently a case of misfortune, and the creditors seemed to have recognised this. A similar order was made, on the application of Mr Johnstone, for imm.ediato discharge of Thomas Higginsou, of Lowgarth, farmer, a bankrupt. In C. A. Wilkinson v. M. C. Wilkinson, luisband’s petition, misconduct, Mr Spence appeared for the petitioner. An order was made that no report be published. A decree nisi, to be made ■.br.r.huc in three months, was granted.
