WANG A N ill SESSIONS

(Pm' Press Association.) Wanganui, September 19. The Supreme Court sessions commenced this morning before Judge Edwards, in the case of an elderly man named Whelan, found guilty of using indecent and profane language, sentence was deferred. There is only one other criminal case, which is now proceeding. The Judge congratulated the district on the lightness of the calendar. 1
