QUEENSLAN D BYE-ELECTIONS. LABOUR CANDIDATE DEFEATED. Brisbane, September 17. Three bye-elections, North Brisbane, Toowang, and Rosewood, previously hold by Ministerialists, resulted in Messrs Wclscy, McArtnoy and Stevens securing good majorities over the Labour candidates. Mr" Cottell, member for Toowang, died, while Mr McArtnoy resigned the North Brisbane seat.
