MOVING PICTURE TRAGEDY.

Albert Brighton, 3b years old, an actor, was drowned in New York last month while representing the part of a gallant rescuer diving into the water to save the life of the lovely heroine. The representation was being given to provide films for a moving picture show. Brighton had previously tested the' pond in which the tragedy occurred, and seemed satisfied that there was a sufficient depth, but when he dived from a boat his head stuck in a mudbank, and the heroine, when she perceived that her rescuer did not rise again saved her own life by swimming ashore.
