Navitoh King’s Weekly Report. On Monday, tilth instant, I held a very successful clearing sale at Lowgarth on account of Mr. F, H. Hooper. The c ws were in good condition, and met, with .very keen competition from tho large; attendance of buyers presente Young grade Jersey cows made (from £8 5s to £l9 10s, later £5 to £7 ,’lOs, empties £B, springing heifers •£7i to £lO 10s, bull £lO, sows with litter £4 10s- to £G 2s Gel, boar 255; sundries sold well. On Tuesday, the 12th., at my usual fortnightly sale at liahotu, there was mly a small yarding, principally of young - stock, which realised good prices. Yearling steers made 39s to £2 Is, yearling heifers £2 Is 6d to £2 13s (3d, do. poor condition 19s to 295, springing heifers £4 us to £7 LOs 6d, store cows £3 us to £3 10s, hull £I. On Wednesday, 13th instant, 1 held i clearing sale on account of Mr. Jas. Allen,; at'Mr. H. Purdio’s farm, Waitara Road, when, despite the very wet went lie; - , .there was a good attendance of tho public. The cows were in poor condition, and sold as follows: Lows in milk and close to profit £5 10s tq ,£lO 15s, empty £2 8s to £3 I.os, lulll .£6 Jus, mixed yearlings (poor) 20s, springing heifers £5 45s to £B, marc £27, geldings £l3 10s to £lB, calves 2s 9d to 4s (id.
