At the Broadway Primitive Methodist Church to-morrow Divine worship will be conducted in the morning by Mr. G. Colli ngwo.od, and in the evening by the Rev. B. Metson. Hearty sinking and a warm welcome* M ossrs. Darkness and Co., coal and grain merchants, Wanganui, want to purchase a regular supply of sound rata. Messrs. A new departure is announced. The Stratford Egg Circle has several advertisements in to-day’s issue. Its system guarantees eggs perfectly clean and fresh. The. article is tiptop, and the prices right. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett have decided to postpone their Matau sale until the end of October. The date will bo duly advertised. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett’s next Inglewood sale takes place on Wednesday, September 20 th. Entries appear in another column. Mr. W. E. Porter has Taupiri coal for sale at cheap rates. Messrs. Sidney Ward and Co. have disposed of their hardware business to Mr. S. G. Rimmington, who will conduct and carry, on the business of general builders and furnishing ironmongers under the title of the Taranaki Hardware Co., as from the Ist of October. The new firm will buy direct from the Home manufacturers' through their London buyer, which should prove .a big consideration to all hardware buyers in this district.
