Robinson's, of Manchester House, life now opening up new goods for the coining season. “ r ‘ On Monday next Mr. Newton King conducts a stock sale at the Douglas yards. A musical service will lie held in Wesley Church to-morrow evening. The prelude, “None Other Name,” “All Hallows,” and the anthem “The Radiant Morn,” will lie rendered by the choir. There will also bo a solo* Mr. J. Grant’s Clydesdale stallion “What’s Wanted” is to be at the service of breeders this season in the Stratford district. Full particulars will appear in our Monday’s, issue. Mr. Newton King will conduct a clearing sale on account of Mr. P. F. Ralfo at his residence, Celia Street, ou Wednesday, 20th September. A farm of 81 acres for. lease with | a purchasing clause' is advertised. ; Particulars appear elsewhere. At the Broadway Primitive Methodist Church to-morrow Divine worship will be conducted in the morning by Mr. G. Colli ngwo.od, and in the evening by the Rev. B. Metson. Matthews and Bennett’s next Inglewood sale takes place on Wednesday, September 20 th. Entries appear in another column. Mr. W. E. Porter has Taupiri coal for sale at cheap rates. Messrs. Sidney Ward and Co. have disposed of their hardware business to Mr. S. G. Rimmington, who will conduct and carry, on the business of general builders and furnishing ironmongers under the title of the Taranaki Hardware Co., as from the Ist of October. The new firm will buy direct from the Home manufacturers' through their London buyer, which should prove .a big consideration to all hardware buyers in this district.
