(From Out Own Correspondent.) A concert in aid of the school funds was held on the 7th inst., and was one of .the largest and most successful . gatherings of the sort over icld in the district. Every item rendered brought forth loud applause. The greater part of the programme was rendered by the school •liildren, who acquitted themselves post creditably, and showed they had men well trained.
