Mr Willis claims that ho was still and always would be a Liberal. Ho had agrqed to help the Labour Party on the understanding that no contentious legislation was introduced, and that there was no dissolution till there had been a redistribution of scats and electoral boundaries. After warmly attacking Mr Wade and other Liberals on their attitude, Mr Willis challenged Mr Wade to resign and contest Upper Hunter against him. , " Perth, September 16. The Premier has announced that the Government will not subsidise the Mawson expedition, considering it entirely a Commonwealth matter.
