NORTHERN UNION GAME

The Taranaki Garrison Band lias been engaged to play at the match to bo held at Stratford on September 21 between Taranaki and the North Island Native team. The band will play before the match, at half time and after. The match is now timed to start at 3.15 sharp. The contest is creating a lot of interest, and should prove an exciting one. The Taranaki team is to bo further strengthened by the inclusion of two or throe new players, who have thrown in their lot with the Northern game.
