SELLERS AND CONSUMERS ARRANGE PRICES. Paris, September 12. The Mayor presided ac tho Roubaix conference of tradesmen and consumers. It was agreed that butter should cost 175 centimes (Is old) instead of 210 centimes (Is 9d) a pound; coffee, 2.10 centimes (Is 9d) instead of 240 centimes (25.) per pound; and to reduce eggs bv 30 centimes (3d) a dozen, and bread by five centimes (Id) for a 31b loaf.
