(Per Press Association 1 Wellington, September 12. By a fire at Waikanao on Sunday ‘2OOO acres belonging to Brown, Field, Campion, and Hadfield were swept by tbe flames, grass and flax lands being in places left bare. Great damage was c|one, Brown being tho heaviest sufferer.
