TRINITY COLLEGE.
PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS. The practical examinations under the'auspices of 'Trinity College were hold in Stratford oil Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week, the examiner being Mr Schilsky, of London, who spoke highly of the musical ability displayed, stating that, it compared favourably with anything in Now Zealand. Pupils of the local convent wore particularly successful, the whole of the fifteen" candidates presented passing. The candidates used a Collard and Collard upright grand piano. Mr Schilsky expressed himself in very enthusiastic terms regarding the work of Miss .Dorothy Patterson (Manaia), and predicted a brilliant future for her, provided she continues her musical studies. The local secretary, Mr T.
