NOTES AND MEMORANDA. On Saturday, September IGth, Mr. Newton King* will offer for sale by auction at his Mart, Broadway, rural allotment 70, block 11, Tarurutangi district, containing 60 acres. Messrs. R. H. White and Co. publish some special lines in dress tweeds and blouse lengths in their space elsewhere. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. conduct a stock sale at Kakaramea yards on Monday, September 11th. Messrs. Lamason and Melville conduct a sale of poultry and vegetables at their rooms to-morrow. Mr. Newton King holds his usual weekly sale at the Haymarkct and Mart to-morrow. Mr. Newton King will offer for sale at his Mart to-morrow, the late Mr. •1. Manly’s farm, containing 70 acres 2 perches, situted on Finucrty Road, Ngaire. A man is wanted for milking and general farm work. Mr. das. E. Campbell, sight-special-ist, will again visit Stratford on Friday and Saturday, September 15th and 16th.
