ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) Ashburton, September 6. A young man named James Clifford, aged 22 years, son of Patrick Clifford, Winchmore, was dragged under the wheel of a heavily-laden farm dray this morning on the Ashburton traffic bridge as a result of tho horses bolting. The wheel passed over the body and the man died on the way to the hospital.
