o WRIT ISSUED AGAINST SPEAKER. Sydney, September G. In tire Assembly the Speaker announced the receipt of Mr Perry’s writ claiming £IOOO damages against himself and the Sergeant-at-Arms. On the motion of Mr McGowen, the House decided that the Speaker and the Ser-goant-at-Arms be allowed to plead, and the Attorney-General has been instructed to defend them. '.riie censure debate is proceeding, and is quiet and featureless.
