THE CHARLESTON STORM.
EX ()HMO I : S DA MAG E. London, August 130. During the hurricane at Charleston six torpedo boats were tossed high on the beach by the violence of the waves. The navy yards suffered. The death roll’has reached eleven. Scores of launches and small craft were broken to fragments. Damage to property is estimated at a million dollars. The water is now subsiding in the streets and efforts are being made to resume traffic.
