WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is retr.iired to he taken, under the Hospital and Charitable institutions Act, 1909, and the .Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a hospital in the Borough of Stratford: And whereas an agreement has been entered into with tlie owners of thesaitl land to take the said land for the purposes above mentioned: And whereas the Stratford Hospital and Charitable Aid Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, together with a map, in duplicate, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908 Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Foyndar, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of ..New Zealand, in pursuance and in exorcise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and the Public Works Act, BIOS, and of every other power and in anywise enabling mo in tiiis behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a hospital, and shall vest in the Stratford Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and 1 do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
