THE MANAWATU MEETING. (Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, August 25. The finals of the coursing club meet wore concluded to-day. Hares were very keen, and there wore only three kills out of cloven courses. J. Hannan’s Bijou scored a popular victory in the Waterloo Cup. Waterloo Purse.—Semi-final: Pleasant Surprise 5 v. Lord Cardiff 0; Lifeline a bye. Final: Lifeline Bv. Pleasant Surprise 0. Waterloo Plate.—Semi-final: Cumbersome 10 v. Dawn 0; Curiosity a bye. Final: Curiosity 4 v. Cumoersome 1.
