Reprint from tho “London and Provincial Music Trades Review.” At tho recent competition held in London by the Music Trades Association of Great Britain, open to Pianoforte Manufacturers throughout the world, for an Upright Iron Grand, the Instrument manufactured by WILLIAM SADIES, LTD., Birmingham and London, obtained the highest possible number of marks in every one of tho twenty-three particulars. A largo number of manufacturers competed, both English and foreign, and it is satisfactory to know that the result is in favour of the British workman. y The examination, which was conduqted by about seven exports in Pianos, was a severe one, and as. no maker's name appeared on any of the Instruments, there is no doubt as to its fairness.
