ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, August 2-1. Joseph W. Braithwaite, who lias lioon in business as an auctioneer for the past three years, shot himself in the side of the bead about 9 o’clock this morning, and died in the hospital shortly before 12. The tragedy occurred in his own auction mart, Manners Street, next the Opera House. Deceased, who was a married man with a family, had been depressed of late. Ho was formerly a clerk for the Johnsonville Town Board. Ho contested the Wellington Suburbs at last general election.
