For some time past the Borough Council has been conducting a municipal moving picture show—the only 0.M.p1. its kiiuf in New, Zealand. For six 'months it showed a profit of £l4 per week, but latterly, owing to the difficulty of securing good films, has not been so successful. Last night the Opera House Committee of the Borough Council decided to discontinue the venture until such time as arrangements could be made fur procuring up-to elate programmes, for which the Council is negotiating.
