ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
BOX. T. MACKENZIE’S SEAT. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin. August L'l. A meeting was hold at Mosgiel tonight to consider the question of the abolition of ' the Taieri electorate. Alter discussion, it was decided to urge the member for the electoral the Hon. T. Mackenzie, to endeavour to have legislation enacted providing that the South Island representation should remain as formerly, and that the North Island should have .-epusentation on the same > opnlition basis. A committee was formed to draw up a petition to Parliament on the matter. Ah objection will also lie forwarded to the Boundary Commissioners.
