AUCKLAND TOURING REPS. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, August 22. The following Auckland players have been chosen to represent the Auckland Rugby Union in tho southern tour;—Full' backs, O’Leary and J. O’Brien; three-quarters, Mackay, McGregor, Geddis, Murray; fiveeights, Gray, R. Magee; half, Otterson; wing forward, Wilkes ; forwards, Sellers, Herring. Harper, Cunningham, Bruce, H. Hayward, Barrett, Hall, Wilson. THE ASSOCIATION GAME.
The semi-final for the championship of Taranaki will take place on Thursday afternoon at Victoria Park between New Plymouth and Stratford, the game starting at 3.15 p.m. Stratford will be represented by Beale, Wood,, Smith, Bonnell, Malcolm, Butchart, Anderson, Allen, Schofield, Hilsdon, and Milner ; emergencies : Hickonson, Towse, Gorton. The Rev, Mr Stent will act as referee. The following is the Now Plymouth team :—Legg, Lawrence, Holmes, ilae Elliott, Goddard, McComish, J. Wylie, Eggleston, Sheppard, Gwilhmj emergency, W. Wylie. The New Plymouth Club will play against the Auckland ( rep. team at Auckland on September 9. JUNIOR PLAY OFF. The following have been selected to represent. Clifton Juniors in their play off with Hawera at Stratford on ThursdayWaka, Pankhurst, W. Lash, W. Fuller, D. George, D. Cunningham, H. Elliot, B. b uller, C. Limmer, H. Phillips, K.
