A PROTEST. (Per Press Association.) 1 Timaru. August 20. The A. and P. Association will support the Westland Association in asking the Department of Agriculture to appoint qualified vets, as inspectors of stock in tiie. back country. The association resolved that the Poisons Bill is detrimental to stock owners and fruit growers through the inconvenience of personal application for poisonous sheep dips and spraying materials, and through the monopoly given to chemists. A protest is to be sent to tbo Minister in- charge of the Bill.
