(To'tho Editor “Stratford Post.”) • Sir, —Noticing ;i paragraph in your paper'd' the-Kith August, in. i'clorcnee to the alteration ol‘ the minutes of a previous meeting of the Borough Council, • surely the ratepayers are entitled to know a little more about this matter. I understand that had those minutes' remained unaltered, any ratepayer could have got n copy of the report on which the Council decided to acquire the electin' light had he wished to do so; hut now it* is impossible to get this report, and it is only fair that ratepayers should know that Crs.> Mealy, Paget, and Morison voted against the alteration of the minutes, and 1 trust that the ratepayers will show' their opinion of these sort of tactics hy voting solidly against the loan to purchase the.,Companv’s hnsinoss. —I am, etc., A RATEPAYER.
