HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Last night, Wednesday’s programme was submitted at His Majesty’s Theatre for the last time. Tonight an entirely new programme will bo screened, including a number of star dramas, comedy stars, scenic and educational films. To-morrow after-* noon the usual matinee takes place at 2.30. Arrangements in connection with the skating carnival are now well in hand, and a crowded house is assured. CORONATION SKATING RINK. There was a good attendance at this rink last evening, the various events being keenly contested, for which prizes were presented to ladies md gentlemen. The rink will he >pon every afternoon and evening. SALVATION ARMY HALL. “An evening with D. L. Moody, the World’s great Evangelist,” will he the subject of a lecture in the Salvation Army Hall on Monday evening next, hy the Rev. B. Metson. The lecture will comprise an account of Moody's early days and business career, together with stories illustrative of the famous evangelist’s campaigns, preaching tours, and personal work; reference to his Sunday School enterprise, and of his many hardships in founding young people's organisations. Mention will also he made, of Moody as preacher and Bible student, and a groat lover of the common paonle.
