fPor Press Association.) Wellington, August 17. The Agricultural Conference to-day considered the report of the special committee on the Deeds of Sale Control Bill. The committee reported in lavour of the Bill, but considered the measure might ho simplified hy striking out clause G and substituting a clause to enable a buyer to take a sample, seal it in the presence of the
seller, and forward it to tbo biologist for analysis. The report was adopted. i’llo committee appointed to deal witli the question of' establishing a Royal Society reported that it is essentia! for better government of A. and P. Associations that some executive body should he constituted, and recommended the conference to take steps to form a duly registered national society, to ho governed by a council elected by A. and P. Associations throughout the Dominion. The objects of the association shall ho to watch over and protect the rights and privileges of the associated societies, to take action in relation to any subject or any legislation affecting their interests, to bring about uniformity of rid os, compile a satisfactory list of judges, negotiate show dates in a IViemly manner, develop the resources
and advance the materia] interests of the country, encourage the most advanced systems of agriculture, to foster every branch of mechanical and household as ts' calculated i.o increase tin* comforts of human life. The report was adopted.
