WEST’S PICTURES.

The very inclement weather last night was no doubt responsible for the small attendance at the Town Hall to witness the screening of the Coronation and other films. The programme, however, was given in its entirety, and war. admitted to be one of exceptional merit, the lengthy Coronation film being watched with great interest throughout. A sensational naval battle, in which the famous Paul Jones played a prominent part, was also highly interesting from the novelty of the scenes. The comic' numbers were mirth-provoking in the truest sense of the term; and altogether a real good time was spent. On Wednesday next a further instalment of Coronation pictures will be screened.

The matinee in the afternoon was attended by between GOO and 700 children.
