HAWKE’S BAY SEAT. (Per Press Association.) Ha stings, August 16. Mr A. L. 1). Fraser, one of the Liberal candidates for the Hawke’s Bay, opened the campaign of the 1911 elections last night by delivering a political address to over 500 people. He claimed independence to support or oppose measures as his principles directed, and said as long as the Ward Administration did what ho thought was right, ho would support it. He declared himself a strong freeholder. Mr Fraser was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. DUNEDIN NORTH SEAT. Dunedin, August 16. Mr London contests the Dunedin North seat in the Liberal interests.
