THE OPPOSITION POLICY. (Per Press Association ) Ekctahuna, August LI. Mr Massey, Loader of the Opposition, accompanied by Mr Noswortliy, M.P. for Ashburton, was tendered a luncheon at Eketahuna to-day. There was a representative gathering. Mr Noswortliy indicated that the policy of the Opposition, if returned, would bo the effecting of reforms of the administration, rather than new legislation. Mr Massey said he was in favour of the Canadian system of audit, which gave the people the fullest particulars of every penny of public money spent.
