FRENCH EXECUTIONS.

VIOLENT SCENES

Paris, August 10

Two sailors were executed at the Toulon rifle range for stabbing a comrade forty-three times at Ajaccio in January, and stealing from him three halfpence. The murderers were unchained and tied to sta'kes, and their eyes bandaged, the presence of thousands requiring 3000 soldiers and sailors to keep the crowd in order. When the order to fire was given the anti-mili-tajrhts in the crowd attempted a demonstration. The gendarmes intervened, and violent scuffles followed.
