ILLEGAL SHOOTING.

(To the Editor “Stratford Post.’)’ Sir, —In your report of the Police Court proceedings last week our solicitor used the remark that it was probable' ■ that l the' 1 Stratford Acclimatisation Society would have to pay the reward. The gentleman who gave us the information absolutely declined tc take any expenses or reward whatever, and I might mention that they take a very active interest in the protection of game purely as sportsmen, and I trust many more settlers will follow their lead.—l am, etc., C. D. SOLE, Secretary Stratford Acclimatisation Society. Stratford, August 11th, 1911.
