FRENCH EXECUTIONS.
VIOLENT SCENES. Liiiis, August 10. Two sailors wore executed at the Toulon rifle range for stabbing a comrade forty-three times at Ajaccio in January, and stealing from him three halfpence. The murderers were unchained and tied to stakes, and their eyes bandaged, the presence of thousands 'requiring 0000 soldiers and sailors to keep the crowd in order. When the order to lire was given the anti-mili-tarists in the crowd attempted a demonstration. The gendarmes intervened, and violent scuffles followed.
